Frequently asked

The stuff people ask before their first order.

  • Nothing upfront. We bring full products and single-use testers home - you try, then pay only for what you keep. No order minimums, no penalty if you keep nothing.

  • From authorized brand stores and leading chains - Nykaa, Tira, Sephora - with a valid invoice for every item. No dupes, no grey-market stock.

  • Every tester is opened with a fresh, sealed Q-tip or sponge, disposed off right after. Full products stay sealed until you decide to keep them. No shared applicators, no double-dipping - the one thing offline beauty counters can't promise, we do.

  • Only if you love it. Our beauty partners help you decide but never push. Hand back whatever doesn't work - no questions, no fees. Trying beauty should always be free.

  • For every product you order, we carry a tester of the same item alongside the sealed full-size. You try the tester with a fresh Q-tip or sponge, then decide whether to buy the sealed one. The tester goes back with us, and the used Q-tips and sponges are disposed off immediately.

  • Our beauty partners are trained female beauty advisors. They can help with application, suggest pairings, or give you an in-depth take on a product - only if you want them to. All-female team so you're comfortable trying face, lip, and fragrance products at home.

  • We deliver between 10 AM - 8 PM IST, within 60 minutes of ordering. Prefer later? Pick a future slot at checkout that suits you - same-day or a few days out, your call.

  • We're live across Bengaluru. Other cities coming soon.

  • No sachets or minis - those don't tell you how a product actually wears. Instead, you get one-time testers of the exact product, used with single-use Q-tips and sponges, and a beauty partner to help you try them properly.

What our customers say

Real experiences from Bengaluru beauty buyers.

  • Deciding on lipsticks from Nykaa is too hard without trying, and they offer no returns for opened products. Qbeaut saved me 3 hours of going to Phoenix by letting me try out 4 shades of MAC lipstick, delivered in 45ish minutes. Bought only one of them. Also, very amazed how they had sealed hygienic Q-tips for trying each shade - reminded me how store lipsticks would have been touched across too many lips (ew gross!). Totes recommend Qbeaut.

  • Was about to repeat my foundation purchase but fortunately came across Qbeaut. Ordered my regular with 3 more shades and I'm so glad - my skin had tanned after a recent trip, and I finally bought a new shade that worked better after trying them out at home. Saved me ₹4k and from wearing the wrong foundation to office.

  • I'd been putting off buying a new concealer for two months because I just couldn't bring myself to drive to Phoenix on a Saturday. Ordered four shades through Qbeaut on a Tuesday evening, tried them on my couch in my pajamas, kept one. This is how shopping should always be.

  • Every K-beauty sunscreen swears it has no white cast and then turns me ghostly grey on Indian skin. Ordered three SPFs through Qbeaut, swatched them in my bathroom mirror, and two went straight back with the partner. Kept the one that actually disappeared. Saved myself ₹3k of regret.

  • Perfume is the worst thing to buy on faith. The one everyone on Instagram raves about smelled weirdly soapy on me. Tried three at home, wore each on a different wrist, and the one I ended up loving wasn't even my first pick. I cannot imagine going back to blind-buying scent.

How Qbeaut started.

Honestly, this all started because of stuff that was happening at home for both of us.

Nikunj's mum.

Nikunj watched his mum do the same thing for years - open the shopping app, fill her cart with serums and foundations, sit on it for ten minutes, then close the laptop.

She has hyperpigmentation, so most products people swear by either leave dark patches or settle into the wrong undertone on her skin. She also runs her own business and doesn't really have time during the week to walk into a store and test things. So she'd either skip it, or take a chance, use it once, and stash it. Three thousand rupees, drawer. Repeat.

Nikunj kept asking - why is buying beauty online a one-way contract? You buy it, you keep it, even if it doesn't suit you.

Saksham.

I have eczema. There's a long list of things I can't put on my skin - specific fragrances, certain chemicals, a few actives, even some surfactants. The wrong one and my face is flared up for weeks.

My skin tone also doesn't match what most brands call “universal”. So most of what I ordered ended up either in a drawer or knocked me out for a fortnight. After enough of those I mostly stopped ordering and stuck to two or three brands I'd already tested in person.

We've known each other since school. Both of us ended up at IIT and then went off to do other things for a while, but we kept circling back to this - we were watching it at home, and it was getting in the way of stuff we wanted to buy ourselves.

Before we did anything about it, we wanted to check whether other people were constantly facing the same issue. So we had long conversations with around 200 people in the city - friends, mums, students, buyers across all age groups and genders - who all struggled with the same problem: people didn't want to be stuck with something that didn't suit them, or didn't know what actually worked for them.

I ordered a lipstick that looked rose-pink in the photo. It was coral.

I've bought four foundations online trying to find a shade that doesn't oxidise orange on my face. All four are sitting in a drawer.

I unboxed a perfume I'd ordered, sprayed it once, and knew I'd wasted three thousand rupees on the spot. Way too sweet. Sat in the cupboard for two years.

That's pretty much what Qbeaut is. The rider brings whatever you ordered, waits while you try it, and takes back whatever you don't keep. No charge, no paperwork.

Honestly, we just wanted Nikunj's mum to be able to try a foundation without writing it off as a loss. And for Saksham to stop guessing. Everything else is the same idea, applied to anyone who's had this problem.
